Begins tomorrow THURSDAY 21st MAY, Ascension Day

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world topray for more people to come to know Jesus,we havebeen involved as a church for a number of years, this year it will, of course, be different! There are a number of ways you can be involved at home.

** We will be praying Morning Prayer every day at 9am for the 10 days from 21st – 31stMay.

** On Saturday 30thMay we are going to have 24 hours of prayer as we have done for the last 2 years. Even though we can’t meet together we can still pray together by phone, virtually by technology or by agreeing with another person to pray at same time as each other. More details to follow on Friday with a prayer sheet **

Each of us that is able to, is encouraged to do a personal prayer walk round the village, a sheet with suggestions for this will be sent on Friday . If you can’t physically do a prayer walk, you could pray for the road you live in.

** Bishop Graham is invitingeveryone across the diocese to join him at 9pm each evening between Ascension Day and Pentecostin a virtual Compline service. Together with millions of other Christians around the world we will be praying the words of Jesus, 'Thy Kingdom Come'.

Compline will be held every evening at 9pm starting on Thursday 21 May (Ascension Day) until (and including) Saturday 30 May
